Information clause of the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Poznań Institute of Technology concerning the processing of personal data in connection with the newsletter service in the project ‘GreenTurn – Enabling stakeholder-centric zero-emission e-commerce delivery and return practices through transparent and collaborative supply chains’
Pursuant to the provisions of Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC, hereinafter ‘GDPR’, we inform you that:
Personal Data Controller and Data Protection Officer
Łukasiewicz Research Network – Poznan Institute of Technology (hereinafter ‘Łukasiewicz – PIT’) is the controller of your personal data.
Łukasiewicz – PIT can be contacted as follows:

Łukasiewicz – PIT has a Data Protection Officer who can be contacted by e-mail: iod@pit.lukasiewicz.gov.pl on matters related to the processing of your personal data and the exercise of your rights in this connection.
Purpose of personal data processing and legal basis
The purpose of the processing of your personal data is to provide information via the newsletter concerning the implementation of the project ‘GreenTurn -Enabling stakeholder-centric zero-emission e-commerce delivery and return practices through transparent and collaborative supply chains’, hereinafter referred to as the ‘Project’, and to produce compilations, analyses and statistics for the Administrator’s own purposes. In particular, the information provided by the newsletter may relate to:
1) the developed results of the Project;
2) upcoming Project events such as consortium meetings, project workshops or study visits;
3) summaries of Project events;
4) surveys and polls on topics related to the Project.
The legal basis for processing your personal data is:
1) Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR – performance of the contract concerning the provision of the newsletter mailing service;
2) 2) Article 6(1)(c) GDPR – fulfilment of legal obligations incumbent on Łukasiewicz-PIT;
3) 3) Article 6(1)(f) GDPR – to create compilations, analyses and statistics for Łukasiewicz-PIT’s own purposes.
Information about recipients of personal data
In certain situations, your personal data may be transferred to other recipients, in particular when this is required by the service used by Łukasiewicz – PIT (e.g. IT, financial, insurance, audit, courier and postal services, destruction and archiving of documentation, legal services).
Transfer of personal data to a third country or international organisation
We do not transfer your personal data to third countries or international organisations.
Period for which personal data will be processed
Your personal data will be processed until the purpose of the processing has been fulfilled. The length of this period may also be affected by legal provisions, including in particular the provisions on archiving, i.e. the Act on the National Archive and Archive Resources and the internal acts in force at Łukasiewicz-PIT regarding the creation and retention of records.
The end date of processing will be the withdrawal of your consent to receive the newsletter or the termination of the Project itself.
Your rights
Data subjects have the right to request from Łukasiewicz-PIT access to their personal data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or data portability (where the basis for processing is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data where the basis for processing is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Complaint to the President of UODO
The person whose data is processed has the right to lodge a complaint relating to the processing of his/her personal data to the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection (address: ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw).
Obligation to provide personal data
The provision of data is voluntary, but necessary in order for Łukasiewicz – PIT to be able to complete the mailing of the newsletter.
Automated decision-making, including profiling
Lukasiewicz – PIT does not process personal data in a manner involving automated decision-making, including profiling.
